Bridge in a Box

For education partner the Blacks of the Chesapeake Foundation, ECRC materials specialist Chris Mortenson has designed two suspension bridges for different age groups of participants. One bridge challenges youth to build a small bridge of great strength for testing, while the second bridge requires super cooperation to build the six-foot tall and 18 foot long suspension bridge.

BCAAN Quiz Center

ECRC recently launched its BCAAN quiz center to support youth learning basic vocabulary and concepts around its themes and action packs.

Flying Bats of Panama

In teaching about bat researchers, ECRC materials specialist Chris Mortenson has designed the flying fishing bat for youth participants to guide during our "Being Batty" simulation for collaborative partner, the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute of Panama.
