What I Did In Camp

Today we had video conferencing with our friends and we had interviews. We looked at Mr.Keddel clean the fish tank of the puffer fish.

We also made this blog. Which was pretty boring.ZZZZZZZ…

Lime Kiln Middle School C.A.R.E.S.

     As you can see we have a large variety of fish. These fish have been cared and treated for by the aquahavens group in Lime Kiln. We breed and feed these fish every day. This school is part of the CARES organization to help reduce the risk of endangered fish to be extinct including the black diamond, pacu, and more. Hi, I’m Jim. Welcome to the school of fish, also known as LKMS!

Our school is dedicated to helping all kinds of fish, including fish at risk.

Here are images of some of the fish we have here:

The puff fish is a fish that will enlarge it’s body when frightened. It releases tetrodotoxin which blocks the sodium channel which paralyzes the muscle tissue.

The gold fish is a small fish usually a fish found in a small pond or in a bowl. This is one of the most commonly kept household fish.

This Japanese koi is a traditional fish usually located in ponds. The koi spread vastly over the Chinese Quig Dynasty and the Japanese Yayoi period.

Blue crabs eat both plants and animals (fish, shrimp, bivalves, etc…) Maryland and other states around the Chesapeake are famous for there blue crab. These two are currently mating.
